Its ournament ime, which is justa little bit like heaven, and sometimes alittle bit like that other place. his past week-end, the 2-Bournament was in Malta, and the 3-Cournament was in Wolf Point........that made for a ton of Basketball on theradio, as both the Boys and the Girlswere in action at both ournaments.Which is pretty much what led to mycurrent dilemma. Starting hursday I was prettymuch glued to the radio from early in

the day til bedtime. We are quite fortunate up here in ourlittle corner of the world, we have threeop Notch play-by-play guys to listento: Stan Ozark at KLTZ, im Zimmer atKVCKin Wolf Point, and Greg Keilb atKMMRin Malta. But with the numberof games at those ournaments theyneeded relief pitchers........and Imsorry, but some of those relievers arepretty sad.......my advice.........dont quityour day job. And if you really want tobe a Broadcaster, go to a BroadcastingSchool, take a correspondence course,or find a good coach.

Anyway, back to the case at hand.Im usually pretty active, and on themove throughout the day, but withall this Basketball on the radio, Iwas planted in my chair most of thetime.........then on Sunday, it was theDaytona 500, and NHRA Drag Racingon V.

I woke up Monday Morning, and my hemorrhoids were killingme. I stumbled to the bathroom forsome relief........preparation h......mymedicine cabinet is built in to an exteriorwall, with little insulation behind it,so it kind of acts like a refrigerator. Igrabbed a tube, squeezed some out andapplied it to the affected area. he coolointment felt very soothing as it wasapplied. Go make coffee, go to the computer,go here, go there, lots of walking and

movement.......and things started to getquite uncomfortable. he more I walkedthe Hotter things got, which led meback to the medicine cabinet. I hadntput on my glasses, or turned on thelight when I went in to Doctor myself, but I now discovered I had grabbed atube of Sportscreme by mistake.........its some of that stuff that the moreyou work it in, the warmer it gets.........but at the same time, after only a littlework, its generating enough heat in anarea it wasnt intended to be applied to,that you are almost propelled down theroad........

I went outside thinking the coldmorning would help, and startedwalking down the road..........I wassoon pulled over by law enforcement, and ticketed for doing 45 in a 25, andhave a court date for next week.
