young European photography , which will take place from February 19th to March 20th
2011, in la galerie Côté Seine of Bagatelle park in Paris (16ème).
This event presents a panorama of the new generatio n of European photographers. It

photographers and European actors from the world of image and to lay out, through
the photographic medium, the outlines of a European identity.

Circulation(s), a European festival dedicated to yo ung photography
Based on the fact that there was no photographic ev ent entirely dedicated to young
European photography in France, Fetart, due to a fi rst successful experience in
2008 with an exhibition gathering 21 European photo graphers during le Mois de la
Photo in Paris, has wished to perpetuate this initi ative by organizing an annual
photographic festival in Paris.
As an extension of the action of the
association created in 2005 to
promote young photographers, the
festival Circulation(s) wishes to
offer a fresh perspective on Europe
through photography and to set to
light tomorrow’s talents.
Circulation(s) aims to federate and
to highlight the initiatives
launched by curators, gallery
owners, festivals, collectives,
photography schools or European
publishers.
The festival differs from existing festivals of pho tography through its pan-
European positioning and its open-mindedness to div erse inputs and currents. It
aims to take over European cultural initiatives in order to :
- encourage exchanges of experiences by the mobilit y of European professionals
from the world of photography and image,
- promote the movement of cultural works by giving access to projects from other
European countries to the widest possible public,
- promote intercultural dialogue
Circulation(s) is an annual event which will take place in Paris every year in
March.
