    1.- Warnings and precautions

Use and operation The oven must always be operated with the door closed, for all programmes, including the grill.

Use it solely and exclusively for cooking food, never for any other purpose. Thisoven has been designed solely for domestic use.

Open the oven door carefully, as hot steam may come out.

When the oven is on, the heat sources, the interior walls, and the dishes usually getvery hot and stay very hot for a considerable time after the oven has been turned off.

You should not touch the heating elements or the ovens interior surfaces. Danger ofburns!

Never pick up the dishes or pans used for cooking with your bare hands; always usean insulating cloth or oven glove.

The oven should always be closed while it is cooling down. Even if the oven dooris only left a little ajar, over time, the front panels of the adjacent units may bedamaged.

Never store inflammable objects inside the oven. Danger offire!

Never place food or dishes directly onto the floor of the oven. Always use a tray orrack.

Never try to avoid cleaning the oven by lining it with aluminium foil. Since this wouldcause overheating, the cooking times would be different from those given in the tablesand the enamel may be damaged.

Never pour water directly inside the oven when it is hot. This might damage theenamel.

If fruit juices drip from the baking tray, this will cause permanent stains. When prepa-ring fruit tarts which contain a lot of liquid, we advise you to use the deep tray, whichcan contain more liquid without spilling.

Do not leave dishes with food inside the oven, as they might damage the oven if itwas accidentally turned on.

Never lean or sit on the oven door.

After using the oven, all controls must be turned back to the 0 position.

If the oven breaks down for any reason, turn it off and, if possible, disconnect it andcall the Technical Service.

    Child safety

Always keep children at a safe distance and make sure they do not operate theappliance without supervision.

If your oven door is equipped with a special anti-burn lock which can usually only beopened by adults, use it.

Timer ovens A1, A2, B and C: Never allow small children to play with the oven or turnthe control knobs. Use the safety function Child safety lock provided by the digitaltimer.

Ovens with ventilated steam outlet: Your oven is equipped with a fan that assistsvapour extraction and ensures the kitchen unit remains cool. The fan is always

working when the oven is on. Once the oven has been turned off, the fancontinues to run for a time to reduce the ovens external temperature. You can

feel the air emerging from between the oven door and front panel.

    2.- Features

The inside of the oven. There are 3 options:

    a) Ovens with standard (AA) enamel:

Our new Slide enamel ensures minimal adherence of any food to the internalsurfaces of the oven, so this enamel is easy to clean. Clean the inside of the ovenwhile it is still warm using hot water with a little soap or dilute vinegar; after cleaning, dry the inner walls thoroughly with a soft cloth.

    b) Ovens with Easy To Clean (ETC) enamel:

Our new Top Slide enamel makes these surfaces much easier to clean. This newtreatment for the interior surfaces prevents food from sticking, thanks to an extremely

smooth, pore-free surface that repels fat.Its non-stick properties mean you can easily remove any residues built up duringcooking with your ordinary washing-up liquid and at room temperature. However, athigh temperatures some residues may have become stuck to the ovens surface, sowe recommend that you clean the inside of the oven while it is still luke-warm. Forthis purpose, use hot water with a little soap, and dry the inside thoroughly with a softcloth.

    c) Catalytic ovens, with part of the interior catalytic and part standard enamel.

In catalytic ovens, the rear plate and the side panels are covered with a self-cleaning

enamel. These panels eliminate the grease while the oven is being used. Sometimes, the largest splashes do not disappear until the oven has been turned on and offseveral times.

    Accessories

The smoke filter - there are two different types of ovens:

    A) Ovens in which there is nothing to clean are not covered in this section.

    B) Ovens with a round filter in the upper surface

The smoke filter is in the top of the interior of the oven and can be removed forcleaning.

    Pull sistem

The new Pull System design ensures

hat food can be handled safely andconveniently, and c an be placed at any ofthe 5 levels of the oven. The trays canbe pulled out of their housing aboutthree-quarters of the way without tippingover or wobbling, thus reducing the risk of burns. This makes it easy to take food outof the oven.

To insert the trays into the oven:

    1. Insert the Pull System into the side rails until itreaches the limits; you will have to raise it slightly to passit over the catches.

    2. Next, insert any of the trays onto the upper part of thePull System, fitting it between the four upper catches. If you wish, you can also insert the grille with its non-tipsafety feature on top of the combination of the PullSystem and tray, but with its catches facing upwards.Insert the whole set right inside the oven.

To pull the trays out of the oven:

Once cooking has been completed, slide the tray and grill set out until it reaches thelimit, once there you can do one of two things, as required:

    a. Just take the tray out of the oven

    b. Extract the whole set from inside the oven. To do so, you will have to lift the PullSystem slightly to get past the catches that prevent it from tipping over.

Remember that the Pull System set of tray and/or grille with its non-tip safety featurecan be placed on any of the 5 levels.

    The energy consumption label

    What you need to know

In accordance with European directives, labels areobligatory on ovens as from July 2003. The objective,as in the case of refrigerators, washing machines,tumble-dryers and dishwashers, is to inform consumersof the features of the product when they purchase it.The labels are only applied to domestic ovens and notto gas ovens, ovens that weigh less than 1kg or steamovens.

In addition to the information on consumption, indicated

by a letter betweenA and G, the label must include thefollowing:

Consumption with a Natural convection cycle

Consumption with a Forced convection cycle, ifpossible.

The volume of the oven interior in litres

    The sound level (optional)

    Measurement method

In order to perform the tests, the ovens are classified into three volume categories:small volume (12-35 litres), medium volume (35-65 litres) and large volume (65 litres+).

The aim is to measure the electricity consumption required to increase the temperatureof a cold brick (5C) impregnated with water by 55C. Three (3) temperature readingsare taken: 10C, 200C and 240C. The average of the 3 consumption levels iscalculated and then, depending on the reading, the oven can be classified in a specificenergy class.

    Air circulat ion

Air circulation has been optimised with a totally closed structure.

The ventilator motor expels the air through the steam outlet tube, carrying with it thesteam produced inside the oven during cooking, and thus preventing condensationand maintaining ideal roasting conditions.

The ventilator motor also draws air in through the kitchen cabinet; this creates acurtain of cold air which cools down the cabinet, preventing it overheating and beingdamaged.

Catalyser filter Destroys the smoke andcombustion of grease bydecomposition into water andcarbon dioxide (CO2).

The catalyser is surroundedby the grill element, so itreaches a high temperatureand burns the grease in theair which passes through it.

Convector filter Catches and holds the grease, thus protecting the fan motor and

    making it easier to clean.

The convector filter issituated in the fan cover

allowing the air for spreadingthe heat around to passthrough and not allowing thegrease to dirty the convectormotor.

    F01 Oven Temperature Sensor.

If the value of the PT500 sensor detected by the HFE is between 140 C and 590C this is interpreted to mean that the sensor is working correctly, otherwise the errorcode F01 is displayed.

If there is an error, change the sensor.

    F02Active Zero Pass

In the HFE, the Zero Pass signal is what allows time management and allows therelays to be activated on zero pass so that the switching current in the heatingelements is kept to a minimum thus lengthening the life of the contacts. It is alsoused in controlling the steam extractor speed and the variable light.

If there is no Zero Pass synchronising signal, time management is effected by the

Timer, with a resolution of 997 seconds and any cooking is interrupted. The errorregistered is F02.

If there is an error, change the Control card

    F05 Low temperature Clixon

If the value of the digital port associated with the low temperature clixon indicates alogic value 0, the HFE does not have control of the relay for cutting the neutral line, and so the heating of the elements is interrupted. The error code F05 is registered.

If there is an error, change the Control card

F06 Safety PWM to control the Relay which cuts the Neutral.

The test of this safety hardware is checked so that once it has been activated, itsrefresh is interrupted so that the power to the relay which cuts the Neutral is cut. Thisoperation takes about 3 seconds, and is therefore only carried out in the automatic

Autotest, each time voltage is applied to the HFE.If it fails, the error code F06 is produced.

If there is an error, change the Control card

F07 Internal error of S / W in the aplication of the Control of HFE.

If there is a malfunction in the S / W into the control program execution, any ongoingprocess will interrupt and error code F07 is produced.

To get off from this failure you must restart the HFE. Steam temperature sensor.

    F11 Control Panel Present

If the Control does not detect the presence of the Control Panel for more than 1minute, it interrupts the cooking (if any) and register error code F11.

Check the cable connecting the Clock / Control card. If the cable is correct, changethe card, and if not, change the cable.

F12 Correct voltage level for Operational Amplifier. (Light protection)

The voltage level of pin 7 of the Operational Amplifier is 1.66 V. If the level is NOTbetween 1V and 2,5V. This error does not stop the cooking processes.

The error code produced is F12.

Mechanism for closing the steam/smoke outlet

The Full Electronic ovens have an electromechanical actuator. When the oven isidle, the actuator is open, but when the oven is turned on, the actuator closes until theoven reaches 75C. At that moment the actuator opens again.

Note: In some recipes, the actuator closes which allows the flow of steam and smokeextracted from the oven during cooking to be regulated. This allows the humidity ofthe food to be regulated and reduces the total energy consumption.

For example: Fairy cakes, sponge rolls, filled buns, plum cake, gratinated pancakes, apple strudel, etc.
