Properties:

Softy D 501 is an all-purpose softener, showing the

following advantages:

easy handling due to its liquid consistency, most suitable for dosing machines,

suitable for softening all kind of fibres especially those made out of cellulose,

imparting a full, soft hand with high surface smoothness,

suitable for top-softening of yarn packages resulting in excellent winding-off properties,

providing good antistatic effects to synthetics and their blends,

applicable in synthetic resin finishing baths in combination with Adalin 1167 in a ratio of 1:1

most suitable for softening of inlet material,

facilitates the take-off of stockings from the boarding forms.

Method of application:

Softy D 501 can be used by padding as well as according to the

exhaustion method. In the latter process Softy D 501 can be

applied in the neutral or slightly acid medium.

Temperature approx. 30 - 40 C. time of treatment approx. 10

15 minutes.

Quantities of application:The quantities of application depend on the material and

the effect required:
