Read the passage below and answer the question that follows.

Last Sunday, Sally and her sister were shopping at Hibiscus Shopping Complex. As it was the end-of-year Christmas sales, the complex was packed and crowded. Sally and her sister were looking at some of the latest imported shoes and handbags at a reputable shoe shop when they heard a lady’s voice shouting, “Help! Stop the thief! My handbag!” Sally and her sister ran out of the shop and continued in the direction of the shouting. They saw an old lady sitting on the floor, crying in pain. Her right arm was bleeding. They also saw the snatch thief running down the escalator clutching the handbag tightly. By then, a crowd had gathered near the lady. A man helped the old lady to stand up. At the same time, he phoned the police and a doctor.

A security guard saw the snatch thief running down the escalator. He quickly gave chase and soon caught up with the thief at the foot of the escalator. The handbag was snatched away from him. By now, two policemen had arrived and they handcuffed the thief who was led away. Sally and her sister learnt a useful lesson from the experience, that was, never to carry any handbags in a shopping complex.

A person can be infected by a hand shake or touching contaminated surfaces such as doorknobs, lift buttons and furniture. Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth if you are infected.
