Agi i Ema Agi and Emma Serbian with English subtitles

An endearing story about a beautiful friendship between Agi and Emma. Agi is a lonely 8-year-old boy, confused with the world that surrounds him; a cold world made up of school bullies, moving houses constantly and wealthy parents who are never around. His life changes after meeting Emma, a very joyful and curious old lady.

Emma is his only friend, an elderly lady with a char-acter full of fantasies. Together they create their own world, a world of friendship, imagination, creativity and full of all kinds of mischief.

This film demonstrates special sensitivity and under-standing while being simple and enjoyably laced with healthy humour.

This film is a campaign for parents to love their chil-dren, be involved in their lives as much as they can, because children are magnificent and they grow up so quickly.

The film is based on the book ‘Agi’ by Igor Kolarov

A group of relatively young college educated smart urban people, whose youth has been destroyed by the events that lead to the break-up of Yugoslavia, are searching for their identity.

Black Horses Konji Vrani(MA 15+) Serbian with English subtitles

Black Horses is a film about the destiny of Serbian people who are forced to endure the ‘rule from the North’ against their will. The empress Maria Theresia has designated their region of Banat to be the dun-geon for insubordinate citizens of the Austro-Hungar-ian empire.

Fortunately, World War One has interfered and ended the rule of the Austrian emperors, but many wounds have remained, wounds that bore spite and on the basis of which people began their struggle to find their identity, to gain their freedom, land and a better life.

That kind of surrounding, full of those ready to exploit others and retort to violence and where a man is torn between honesty and fraud.

The film is a follow on from film ‘Goose Feather’ (refer film number 6 below) and traces the life of Sava in his endeavours, as a single father, to support and provide a living for his little daughter.

The story is set in a small town in Serbia. Rasha is thirty, lives with his alcoholic father and trying, and fail-ing, to make ends meet by giving literature lessons to teenage girls and hosting a program on the local radio, presenting new books and interviewing authors.

Ivan, a promising judoist in his teenage years, has since had a history of neurosis, psychotic episodes, hospitalization, being heavily medicated, involvement in various occult groups and practices, prior to having been baptized in the Orthodox Church.

Mila is very attractive, energetic, resourceful and very straightforward: it immediately becomes clear that, apart from having a student/teacher relationship, she and Rasha are lovers.

Milos Brankovic Who the f**k is Milos Brankovic(R 18+) Serbian with English subtitles

The film takes place in Belgrade. It is a story of crime, punishment and justice. The latter is the biggest loser. It is the fate of an individual faced with the harsh con-ditions of Belgrade street life at the time of transition. What can the individual do for society and what can society do for the individual? Milos Brankovic is an ordinary young man, an architect committed to his work and to his love for Alexandra. Suddenly and seemingly without cause, he becomes the victim of a street gang attack; his professor forges his masterwork; his girlfriend turns out to be involved in some undefined shady business.

A corrupt police inspector also contributes to the entire drama. Milos’ life turns into a nightmare and he is forced to take steps to protect himself.

Against their will they are forced to join the army of Austria-Hun-garian Empire. Four years later the war has finished and Sava returns to his village. Waiting for him are Petrasina, who has lost an arm in the War, and his girlfriend Marija. The love between Marija and Sava was obvious.
