FILM PITCHESERAY PRODUCTIONS
The 70’s was a time of violence and aggression off the the pitch, no one was safe. 40 years later the game has changed but the violence never has. A small firm in Portsmouth is the youngest and the most inexperienced in the football league. However the rise in the club brings a rise in the firm.
‘Football isn’t a matter of life and death… it’s much more
than that.’
Opening Scene and Titles
We want the opening to be shot in two places, with shots interchanging regularly. The first place we’d like to shoot is a football pitch showing a group of mates playing a game of
football. The second location a train station and park in a populated area, this is where we’ll see the group of mates darker side as coming home from a Pompey game they are
jumped. We want to have it jumping between shots of mates playing football and then to the
violence. For example, as a player rises and headers a ball, it quickly cuts to a character head butting a rival.
Settings Location 1: The Havant college football teams football pitch. It is a easy place to film does not provide any
challenge of dealing with public or travelling difficulties.
Location 2: Havant train station and park . A more complicated place to shoot as it is a public area so
members of the public may be an issue. However we are going to try and film at night, not only for effect but to
minimise the local problem.
Rec Shots
Costumes
Easy to get hold of these, as most people own these items. These are the modern day gear of most firms as the days of matching
tracksuit are over.
’Run for your life, don't look back. He’s coming for you’
The abandoned warehouse is abandoned for a reason. The stories are true about what they say goes on in there. A group of friends decide to explore their town’s abandoned building for a thrill and to delve into why the town elders have forbidden them to enter the building.
Extreme-long shot of setting and abandoned building. We see multiple camera shots of different corridors. in-between shots of corridors we see blood splatters, a bloody axe and a butchers knife. While this is gong on there is music gong on with credits. After credits we go to a scene where we see a mask. Then goes to tracking medium shot of two people walking towards the abandoned building. Can film local abandoned building.Mask, axe, long coat, every day clothes, torch, butchers knife.
Potential filming location Eastney - Portsmouth
Potential filming location chichester
Costumes and props for the killer
butchers knife rope
bloody overalls
rusty chains
police tape
fake blood
Most of these props are easy to get ahold of however the butchers knife would have to be used carefully as it is harmful and can cause harm if used carelessly. The rusty chains will be used to cover up exits are will be used
as weapon(which is another precaution we must take). The police tape will be scattered around through the building as if it was a forgotten crime scene and the fake blood shall be used to cover the overall in, it will also be
used in death scenes or if a body part id on the floor.
torch
‘The Godfather ain’t seen nothing yet.’
Set in modern day England, this crime drama is intense and gory. A modern day drug baron prides himself on being a family man. Who’s main currency is respect and loyalty. However he fears his sexuality will topple his hard fought empire.
Settings
We need to find a park that leads out on to a street then a high street. Portchester looks very good for our specifications and is not that busy so we can easily film. However the street leading too the high street in very long so we may have to edit the film to make it more plausible. It also does not have the grand house we wanted so we would have to film
somewhere else and again edit so it fits in.
Title Sequence
The opening sequences will show a boy walk down a street interacting with people as he walks down the street. We will only see a midst however using four actors we will
show the young lad getting older and older. But never seeing his face. With every interaction comes a new title.
Eventually the young boy who is now being acted by a man walks into a mansion a takes a throne like seat.
Costumes
As the character gets older we need to show this through the clothing these represent the different eras.
