Attitude
The longer I live, the more I realize the impact attitude has
on life.
Attitude to me is more important than facts.
It is more important than the past, than education,
than money, than circumstances, than failures,
than successes, than what other people think or say or do.

It is more important than appearance, giftedness or
skill.
It will make or break a company...a home.
The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday
regarding the attitude we will embrace for the day.

We cannot change our past. We cannot change the fact
that people will act in a certain way.
We cannot change the inevitable.
The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have,
and that is our attitude.
I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and
90% how I react to it.
And so it is with you.
We are in charge of our attitudes.

Relation between job satisfaction
and job performance The relationship between job satisfaction and
performance is an issue of continuing debate
and controversy.
One view,is that satisfaction leads to
performance. An alternative view is that
performance leads to satisfaction.
Thus, we can see that job satisfaction
and job performance are inter-related.

JOB SATISFACTION IS IMPORTANT
Because satisfaction represents an outcome of thework experience high levels of dissatisfaction helpsto identify organization problems that needattention.
Job dissatisfaction is strongly linked atabsenteeism; turnover, and physical and mentalhealth problems.
Dissatisfied employees are more likely to leave ajob for other employment. High levels ofabsenteeism and turnover are costly fororganizations. Many management experts suggestthat the strong relationship between dissatisfactionand absenteeism and turnover is a compellingreason for paying careful attention to employee jobsatisfaction.

CONCLUSION
So it is with us. We build our lives a dayat a time, often putting less than our bestinto the building. Then, with a shock, werealize we have to live in the house we
have built. If we could do it over, we'd doit much differently. But we cannot goback. We are the carpenter. Each day wehammer a nail, place a board, erect awall. "Life is a do-it-yourself project,"
someone has said. Our attitude and thechoices we make today build the "house"we live in tomorrow.
