Q: Have you ever been offensive on a social media website? A: “I wouldn’t say that I’ve been offensive, just honest. Most of the tweets that I end up deleting are about my boyfriend, or my parents.” Q: Would you work for someone who requires seeing your personal sites? A: “I think it’s kind of strange for an employer to require to see personal sites, but I wouldn’t turn down a job because of it.”

Q: If you knew your employer was going to see your tweets or posts, would you still do it? A: “My mom follows me on Twitter, so, I’m pretty cautious already. I don’t really put too much out there.”    Q: Where is the strangest place you’ve been caught posting/tweeting/texting? A: I tweet all of the time. I’ve tweeted in my bathroom before which is pretty embarrassing.”

Proposal •  An extension designed for Google chrome that

“hides” an individual’s online persona from employers/colleges/unwanted visitors.

•  By simply entering an e-mail address, all linked accounts will be found and anything linked to those accounts will be hidden.

•  Rather than deleting a long-standing account and having to go through thousands of posts, all that is necessary is the click of a button.
