Step 1 & 21.When you get your email notification of award, log into your eServices account and click on the Financial Aid Link on the left navigation bar.

Note: Make sure you are in the correct award year and semester! Click on change semester then return to Financial Aid on the navigation bar.

2. Under the Next Step, click on View Your Award Notification

Step 3aYou should see the following tabs starting with:

Review Award Information

Respond to Awards

Provide Additional Information

Submit Award Response

Go through each tab and review the information on each page.

Read the Review Award Information and click on the “I acknowledge…” button. Then go to “Next”.

Step 3bUnder Respond to Awards tab, you have the ability to select a specific number of credits you plan to enroll in and then click the view awards tab to see what you will be eligible for right away! Tip: When changing credit level view, click “View Awards” once to clear the previous credit level displayed, clicking “View Awards” again will display the new credit level.

Note: You may print any credit levels using “Print” at the bottom of the page. However, once you submit the award response (3rd

tab), the ability to print multiple credit levels will be removed.

Step 3cGrants will automatically say “Accepted” so you do not need to take any action.

You must take additional steps if you wish to request student loans. You may request your loans at this point or defer that decision to a later date. Click the blue “i” for more information on your options.

To accept your loans, click on the Request Loan link and it will open another window and take you through the steps.

When you finish requesting your loan, make sure you come back to Respond to Awards tab to finish and submit your award response.

Helpful InformationThe blue “i” icon will give you detailed information on the award type.

Step 4Under Provide Additional Information tab, you may be provided with the Miscellaneous Charge Authorization language. This allows the university to use your financial aid to pay for charges other than tuition and fees, such as a bookstore charge. Note: If you already have given this authority to the university, you will not see this language.

Also, please report any other aid you may be getting and then, go to the next page.

Step 5Finally, the last tab is used to Submit Award Response.

Read over the information and click on “Submit” and then, “Next”.

Step 6You will see a summary of what you just submitted based on fulltime enrollment. Aid will be adjusted to your actual enrollment level at the time of disbursement.

Print the information for your records.

If you did not request your loans, you may do so at a later date provided you are still enrolled and eligible. Delaying your loan request may delay your disbursement.

Final StepThe main page under the Financial Aid link will show the steps have you completed in green and what’s next in blue.
