Ahmedabad civic body health officials indicate Covid-19 surge ‘due to Diwali’Ahmedabad : Indicating

another surge in Covid-19cases in Ahmedabad city,where 186 cases werereported on Wednesday,

health officials of theAhmedabad MunicipalCorporation (AMC) said thatthe upward trend maycontinue for weeks now, due

to Diwali. Till Wednesdaymorning, 70 designatedhospitals were available in thecity for Covid-19 patients,while four private hospitalswere added to the list byevening, with approximately1,745 beds reserved by theAMC for patients referred bythe urban local body andaround 2,100 beds for

privately admitted patients.According to an AMC

health official, “We are seeinga rising trend acrossAhmedabad city and this is notthe winter surge but becauseof Diwali where socialdistancing norms are notbeing adhered to… I believe,cases will continue to surgeeven after Diwali.”

The votingrights of the members shall be in proportion to the equity shares held by themin the paid-up equity share capital of the Company as on Wednesday, 2ndDecember, 2020 ("cut-off date").

The remote e-voting period commences on Saturday, 5th December, 2020at 09:00 A.M. and will end on Tuesday, 8th December, 2020 at 5.00 p.m. Duringthis period, the Members may cast their vote electronically. The remote e-voting module shall be disabled by CDSL thereafter. Those Members, whoshall be present in the AGM through VC/OVAM facility and had not cast theirvotes on the Resolutions through remote e-voting and are otherwise notbarred from doing so, shall be eligible to vote through e-voting system duringthe AGM.

The members who have cast their votes by remote e-voting prior to theAGM may also attend/participate in the AGM through VC/OAVM but shall notbe entitled to cast their votes again.

The manner of remote e-voting and voting at the AGM by membersholding shares in dematerialized mode, physical mode and for members whohave not registered their email addresses is provided in the Notice of the 25thAGM.
