Objectives of the TrainingUnderstand the combustion process and

different fire classes.Understand fire extinguisher types, operating

procedures, capabilities, and limitations. Understand basic firefighting concepts:– R.A.C.E.– P.A.S.S.

Three elements must be present at the same time to produce fire:

EvacuationWhen you hear the fire alarm - LEAVE the area immediately

Follow the main evacuation route and signsIf you must evacuate through smoke… get down and crawl. Cover your nose with a wet cloth

If you must open doors while evacuating, test the doors before opening by using the back of your hand to touch the door, the door knob and the door frame. 

Use stairways - NEVER use an elevator. Once outside, move to your designated Assembly Point away from the fire.
