About UsThe Firehouse Sandwich Stop, located just a short walk from the Visitor Center at
Buffalo Trace Distillery, was voted the 2019 USA Today Readers’ Choice recipient for Best Burgoo in Kentucky. The Sandwich Stop opened in the summer of 2010 and is inside the original Distillery firehouse, built in the 1930s. See authentic fire coats and boots once worn by Distillery workers in
the ‘50s and ‘60s when the Firehouse was in full swing at the Distillery.
Buffalo Trace Distillery offers tours Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. & Sunday Noon-3 p.m. All tours are complimentary and end with a tasting of our award-winning bourbon.
