December 2018 Issue
Our Promise
Young people want to shape the world.
Camp Fire provides the opportunity to find their spark,
lift their voice, and discover who they are.
In Camp Fire, it begins now.
Light the fire within
Our staff is trained in and dedicated to this promise.
With programs such as InterACTION for middle school and Teens in ACTION in
high school, we are helping youth learn to serve, lead and develop a growth
mindset. These youth-led programs encourage exploration and let youth make a
difference NOW.
Camp Fire Caring Together in 2018
In Camp Fire, we changed lives every day in 2018 with the caring work we do, and we
could not do it without a dedicated Board of Directors, Staff, Volunteers, Families,
Friends and the beautiful children we serve. The Camp Fire Gulf Wind Council, Inc. has
been able to give a large part of ourselves to others. Touching lives with our Promise . . .
Lighting the fire within.
May the Season’s Warmth and Joy Shine Brightly
and the Holiday Spirit Bring Great Delight to ALL.
OUR SINCERE THANKS TO ALL

On November 15 we had our open house event. Each class provided a hands-on activity for students to participate in with their parents/guardian.
In the month of December, the children will make many crafts for Christmas. Each class will watch the Polar Express and have a Pajama Day. The Century Fire Department will deliver Santa to the center on December 18.

Living in an area that has been and will probably be affected by hurricanes, we understand the impact it has on a community. Our Camp Fire motto is to give service. Camp Fire PSC did a service project by collecting school supplies to help students that were affected by Hurricane Michael.
