Thank You Thank you, church family, for taking part in
Operation Christmas Child. We gave a record
314 shoe box gifts! Thanks to all who gave
money for gifts and shipping and to those who
packed shoe boxes. Together we are not only
bringing great joy and providing for some of the
needs of children around the world, but we are
helping to share the Good News of Jesus Christ!
Continue to pray for the volunteers and for the
children who will receive these precious gifts.

Giving Thanks Dinner THIS Sunday, November 24 at 5:00 pm
in Mitchell Hall
The WMU needs your help filling Christmas bags for the Arkansas
Department of Community Corrections. Leave donations in the Atrium
or the Information Center, and of course, we accept monies (put in
offering plate, or turn in to office). Please make checks out to FBC and
indicate on the check that it is for the Women’s Prison Christmas
ministry. Items needed (no travel size):
• Assorted Christmas candies (no hard candy, individually wrapped please)
• Large size containers of shampoo, conditioner, body wash,
body/hand cream/ lotion
• Toothpaste (3-4oz.)
• Toothbrushes (single, individually packaged)
• Lip balm (Chapstick type)
• Deodorant (solid)
• Notecards
• Christian magazines
• Money for stamps
• Crew socks—solid white only
Please bring items to the church no later than December 15.

A Women’s Ministry Event
At the regular business meeting on
November 17, 2019 First Baptist Church:
A. Approved the October financial report.
B. Approved the recommendation that Linnie Hampton and Brian
Baird be accepted by baptism and Donnie Godwin, Donna
Godwin, Diane Garcia and Shawn Barnes by letter as members
of First Baptist Church, Fayetteville.
C. Approved the recommendation to table the 2020 Budget vote
until Sunday, November 24 by secret ballot.
D. Approved the December 2019 Calendar of Activities.
