Change in Worship Time In order to provide a stronger Sunday School program for all ages, we have moved all Sunday School classes to 9:00 a.m. This change is providing all of our children with the opportunity to attend Sunday School and Worship, which now begins at 10:15 a.m. Adult Sunday School is meeting for an hour at 9:00 as well, and in the future we hope to host a time of fellowship and conversation before worship each week.
Annual Chili Cook-Off Yes folks, it is that time again -
Time to have fun and enjoy some terrific Chili. The Chili Cook-off will be on Sunday, February 9 after church in the Fellowship
Hall. We would like to have a minimum of 10 pots of chili to be judged. We would also like to have at least three pots of soup.
Door prizes to be given away. Cake, peanut butter & jelly sandwiches, and beverages will be provided.
If you can bring chili, please contact Terry Livingston.
Please mark your calendar for SUNDAY, February 9.
PLEASE EVERYONE COME FOR FUN AND FELLOWSHIP!

We are scheduled to provide the next “Meal of Love” on Tuesday, March 25. We could use a few more servers/kitchen workers. Please consider helping with this Mission project.
To My Church Family, (January 2, 2014)
How do I thank you for your many kindnesses shown during my recent confinement. We enjoyed all the telephone calls, cards, the food and especially the visits with those of you who took time out of your busy lives to spend with us. Thanks also for other favors too numerous to mention. All I can do is let you know how much all of this was appreciated. Gratefully Yours, Vivienne Danco
Our Christian love and sympathy go out to Vivienne Danco, Donna & Richard Skirball, Paula & Vince Arconati and their families on the passing of Paul Danco on Thursday, January 17. Paul’s funeral service was Monday, January 20 with Rev. Jeffery Welch officiating. Burial was at Lake View Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights, Illinois. Our Christian love and sympathy go out to the family of Bette Rea. Bette passed away on Monday, January 27. There will be a Memorial Service here at the church on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 11 a.m.
Dear Church Family, (January 28, 2014)
Thank you Rev. Welch for your funeral meditation. It was comforting and very much about Paul as everyone knew him.
We thank the Pall Bearers and all those who furnished food and worked at the Memorial Dinner. Everyone was so helpful. Thanks also for the memorial donations to our church.
God Bless all of you. Love, Vivienne Danco & family.
