Outdoor Painting 1st—3rd Grade Classes start: January 19, 2016 Tuesdays / 3:15-4:15 pm Room: ES 102 (Art Room) $272.00 / 16 classes

This workshop allows students to discover their drawing and painting skills while they have fun using basic shapes and lines around them in nature. The student will create outdoors draw-ings and paintings inspired by the most popular impressionist artist. They will use colored pencils, soft pastels and acrylic paint.

Payment must be made in full at time of enrollment.

No refunds will be given after the second class of each course.

No student will be admitted in class until registration has been completed and enrollment has been paid in full.

A 10% discount will apply for siblings on the class of lesser cost.

If weather conditions affect us, we will cancel classes as instructed by the administration. Classes cancelled by the administration will NOT be replaced.

This class features various projects that provide opportunities for elementary artists to discover Picasso with fun and engaging hands-on art projects. Capoeira is a Brazilian martial art that combines elements of dance,

acrobatics, and music; and is sometimes referred to as a game. It is

known for quick and complex moves, using mainly power, speed,

and leverage for a wide variety of kicks, spins, and highly mobile

techniques.

Challenge Island is a whimsical, wildly popular enrichment program that promotes creative and critical thinking skills in children. Loosely based on a well-known reality TV show, Challenge Island has kids dividing into cooperative tribes and taking on a vast array of exciting challenges set on action-packed thematic “islands”.
