NOTICE 2020 NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the City and County of Swansea in pursuance of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) intend to close the above-mentioned road. In order for BT Openreach to safely access underground apparatus, it will be necessary to temporarily close the above road in part to vehicular traffic. SCHEDULE TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE B4489 HEOL LLANGYFELACH, FELINDRE, SWANSEA. SCHEDULE – TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE B4489 HEOL LLANGYFELACH, FELINDRE, SWANSEA. B4489 Heol Llangyfelach in a south-westerly direction from its junction with Heol Penfidy for distance of approximately 300 metres. The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via, Heol Penfidy, Rhyd-y-Pandy Road, Mynydd Gelli Wastad Road, Pant Lasau Road, A48 and the unaffected section of B4489 Heol Llangyfelach, a distance of approximately 11.5 kilometres. Similarly this route will operate in the reverse direction. Access for emergency vehicles and pedestrians to be maintained at all times. The closure will operate from Monday 25 th May 2020 for 5 days (Or until the works are completed whichever is the sooner). It is anticipated the works will take 3 days to complete (9:30-15:30).
