Flamenco dance course in Kerala Indiawith cultural activities, experiences and concerts

Course dates: 1st course begins: 28 December 2019 at 6:30am, ends: 03 January 8:20pm (this week hotel costs and activities are slightly more expensive) 2nd course begins: 6 January 2020 at 6:30 am, ends: 12 January 8:20pm

Dear dance and music lovers

Flamenco has its roots in India. South India still cultivates the oldest dance, music, rhythm and theatre cultures. After 13 years of regular dance and music trips and many performances in India and intensive exploration of Indian art forms, I am delighted to offer you the ideal location for a unique course with cultural activities in Kerala/South India. I have put together a week-long programme with a focus on dance and many other aspects that are close to my heart. I would love to be able to share these with you.

If you wish to participate in a typical tourist programme before or after my course, such as visiting the famous tea plantations, national parks and other tourist attractions, the resort managers will be happy to arrange this for you.

First, I need to find out who would like to attend the 1st or 2nd course. I need 10 people per course for the workshop or Indian trip to take place at these prices. Then I can decide which courses will take place. I’d be grateful if you could let me know as soon as possible if you wish to attend. The final details will be sent later.

Here you can see the music and dance resort of which I am a Brand Ambassador: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC5yQWqVp36saChvVzmgLZKg

The course costs include the following:

1. 60 minutes yoga before breakfast with sunrise (we have the most beautiful dance and yoga studio from where you can enjoy the sunrise and sunset))2. 150 minutes dance lesson after breakfast (the group will be split according to level)3. Boat trip with food in the backwaters of Kumarakom4. Indian artists will visit us to perform or dance and act with us, or we will go to events: Kathakali = South Indian dance theatre, Mohiniyattam = South Indian dance, Bharatanatyam = South Indian dance, Kalaripayattu = very impressive and dance-like South Indian martial art; visit of a temple concert and perhaps we will also organise a performance for those who are interested.5. Cycle tour along backwaters.6. An Ayurveda oil massage7. The group has use of a bus for 8 days with driver and airport transfer from Cochin Airport to the resort.

We cannot accept any liability for accidents, illness or damage to property. The participant is responsible for arranging appropriate insurances such as travel insurance and/or cancellation insurance.

Travel costs:The new flight schedules and prices will be available at the beginning of March. You can expect to pay about EUR 800. You will have to book your own flights, but I will set up a WhatsApp and email group so that we can communicate with one another. Sometimes you do get really cheap flight offers. Since 2018, Europeans have been able to apply for electronic visas for $80. This is very simple to do.
