THE GOVERNMENT OF PALESTINE offers by auction leases of 20 sites for warehouses or stores, situated within the Haifa Harbour (Reclaimed Area) Estate, Haifa, by means of an outbidding list which will be open at the District Offices, Haifa, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon daily for fifteen days from Tuesday, 18th September, 1934, to Tuesday, 2nd October, 1934, inclusive, unless extended by notice.

The plots vary in size from about 363 square metres to about 2,085 square metres and in all extend to an area of about 21 dunums 457 square metres.

Particulars and Conditions of the auction with the terms of the lease and the plan may be obtained from the Agent, Harbour Estate Office, P.O.B. 642, Haifa, (Telephone No. 972, Haifa); the office of the Commissioner of Lands, Jerusalem ; the District Commissioner, Northern District, Haifa, and through any District Officer.

PALESTINE RAILWAYS.

FREE PERIOD ALLOWED FOR THE UNLOADING OF FLAT WAGONS AT JAFFA AND TEL AVIV.

IT IS HERERY NOTIFIED that from the 24th September, 1934, and until further notice, the period free of demurrage charges allowed for the unloading of flat wagons at Jaffa and Tel Aviv Railway Stations will be reduced from 24 con­secutive hours to 6 hours of daylight.

For the purpose of this notification, the hours of daylight will be deemed to be from 0700 to 1700 hours daily.

W H E R E A S at a general meeting held on 27.2.34 the Company resolved to reduce its oapitalfrom LP.50U01 (divided into one thousand

ordinary shares of L P . 5 0 . - each and one trustee share of L P . l ) to LP.6251 (divided into one hundred and twenty-five ordinary shares of L P 50.-each and one trustee share of L P . l ) , and such reduction is based on the cancellation of shares of the Company in the amouut of LP.43750 which the shareholders have sur ren­dered to the Company after it had distributed to them certain portions in the plautations of the Company ;

A N D W H E R E A S the Company has applied to this Court in File No. 142/934 for the confir­mation of the said resolution for reduction, i n accordance wi th section 46 of the Companies Ordinance, 1929;
