Booking Your Flights Through Amway Special EventsPlease book your airline tickets for Amway Achievers through Amway Special Events after your qualification has been completed and verified. We will not be able to book any flights until after qualifications are verified.
Requesting an Exception to Book Your Own Airline TicketsWe realize that situations may arise in which you would like to book your own airline tickets. In these cases, exceptions may be made.
If you are an IBO who wishes to book your own flights for Amway Achievers 2014, please follow the procedures below to request and ensure airfare reimbursement where applicable. Due to contractual agreements with the airlines, tickets booked outside of Amway Special Events without completion and authorization of this form will not be reimbursed.
To request an exception to book your own airline tickets and be reimbursed later, you must complete, sign, and submit the Flight Exception Request Form on page 2 prior to booking your airline tickets. Do not book any tickets until you receive written confirmation from Amway Special Events that your form has been received, approved, and processed.

Additional Charges: If for any reason you do not attend the Amway Achievers program, fail to qualify, or change your travel plans, you will be responsible for all charges incurred.
Frequent Flier Tickets: Amway Special Events is unable to process, book, or reimburse airline tickets using frequent flier miles. If you book your flight on your own, book only children and/or additional guests with frequent flier miles. Do not use frequent flier miles for qualified IBO airline tickets. Amway is not able to reimburse you any amount for tickets purchased fully OR PARTIALLY with frequent flier miles.*
Reimbursements for Tickets Booked on Your Own: Qualified IBOs will be reimbursed the ticket price paid, not to exceed your air allowable (see Air Allowable section below). Any penalties or additional costs incurred due to changes in the airline tickets are considered the IBO’s responsibility and will not be reimbursed. Your reimbursement will be included in your monthly bonus payment, approximately 6–8 weeks after the conclusion of the program.
Air Allowable: Amway will reimburse round-trip airfare (not to exceed your air allowable) from your home airport to McCarran International Airport, based on the best negotiated rates Amway Special Events is able to receive for your given program dates. Should you wish to use a specific airline, change your flight plan, or need specific airline flights and/or times, this could alter the cost of your airline ticket. Your air allowable will not be determined until after qualifications are complete.
Procedure for ReimbursementIn order to qualify for reimbursement, you must have received flight exception approval for Amway Achievers 2014 prior to booking your airline tickets via the Flight Exception Request Form below.
Please fax copies of all travel itineraries and passenger receipts to:
*Qualified Diamond exception: Approved tickets purchased with frequent flier miles, or a combination of frequent flier miles and cash or credit, will be reimbursed at 60% of the air allowable amount. In this case, the reimbursement amount is reported on IRS Form 1099 as income to your business.

have read and fully understand the above outlined exception procedures for pre-booking round-trip airline tickets for Amway Achievers 2014 to McCarran International Airport. I agree to prepay all costs incurred for these tickets and understand I will be reimbursed the cost paid for my airline ticket, not to exceed my air allowable, after the conclusion of the program. I will not be advised of my air allowable until after qualification is complete and verified in mid-October. Should I decide not to attend the program, fail to qualify, or change my airline travel, I understand any/all charges incurred will be my responsibility. I also agree to provide Amway Special Events with copies of all itineraries and passenger receipts for all tickets pre-booked, no later than November 14, 2014. Failure to provide such information by the due date will result in forfeiture of any/all reimbursements. A return email address and IBO # is REQUIRED for faster response and authorization.
