I bought the Flip Ultra HD with 8GB which captures 120 minutes of high definition video on Amazon.co.uk for STG£133.

This is called a Flip because of the flip out USB stick, which is used to download videos toyour computer AND to charge the batteries. No Wires.

I also purchased an underwater case - very handy for water based activities! This cost £31on Amazon.co.uk.

Flipshare software, included on the actual device for easy install on your PC, enables you to manage and publish video clips, as well as, capture still photos from videos.

The easy to use software allows you to create a single movie out of your individual clips.It doesn't allow you to edit individual clips. Use free software such as Window Movie Makerif you want to edit clips.

Because the video is captured in high definition you can create high quality photos fromvideo stills. Flip makes this very easy to do.

What's good about the Flip:

- Reasonably priced for quality of video capture- HDMI cable plugs straight into your TV- No wires for uploading to PC and for charging- Easy capture of high quality still photos from video- One click upload to YouTube etc- Waterproof case available at a decent price- Fits into the palm of your hand

Not so good:

- Software doesn't allow you edit individual clips
