CHOOSING THE RIGHT MATFloortex mats are versatile and allow flooring surfaces to shine through. In order to maximise the lifespan of your mat, whatever you use it for, match it to the surface it protects. Use this simple guide to ensure your mat provides years of use and continues to maintain the pristine appearance of your flooring.

CHECK YOUR SURFACECARPETSSpiked gripper backing will keep the mat in place without damaging the carpet. You’ll need to make surethat your mat is thick enough for the pile of your carpet.

To determine the pile of your carpet take a straightened paperclip and sink it into the carpet, through the backinguntil it reaches the floor.

Grab the paper clip with your thumb and index finger atthe point where it is flush with the carpet. Measure thedistance between your fingers and the end of the paperclip to work out the carpet’s thickness.

HARD FLOOROur standard smooth backed mats will protect your hardfloors whether they are wooden, laminate, tiles or concrete without marks or damage. Our anti-slip mats feature a very low tack backing which is perfect for polished surfaces and will also leave no marks.
