Fine Arts Enrollment

Section 1003.4995, Flori da statutes, requires the Commissioner of Education to publish an annual report that describes student access and participation in fine arts courses and provides information about educators who instruct fine arts; facilities where the instruction is taking place; and the manner in whidl the curricular content ts provided.

The Fine Aris interactive reports indude data reported by districts in the Fall of each year and provide information about:

• Students who enroll in fi ne arts courses;

• Educalors who Instruct fine arts courses;

• Classroom facilities where fine arts instruction is deltvere<t, and

• Fine arts content deltvery methods.

The Fine Ms report demonstrates that over 50 percent of all Florida public school students are enrolled in at least one fine arts dass. In addibon, over 90 percent of all fine arts teachers are both highly qualified and teaching in-field. Delivery methods for the fine arts content vary across distrids and schools in Florida.
