She is the all-time winningest coach in Florida State women’s tennis history win 205 wins and 260 career wins.LAST TIME OUT• Florida State fell to both NC State and UNC 4-3. The Noles earned three ranked wins on courts 1, 2 and 3 against North Carolina.TOP OF THE LINEUP LEADING THE NOLES• The top of the Seminole’s lineup has gotten off to a fast start going 26-15 at the top three positionsNOLES ON A ROLL• Florida State has won 10 of the 15 doubles points this season, including doubles wins over No. 2 Vanderbilt and No. 3 Florida. FSU is 21-12 in doubles matches this season. • The Seminoles are outscoring their opponents 65-29 in the first 15 matches of the season.SEMINOLES IN THE RANKINGS• The Seminoles are ranked No. 30 in the ITA Poll. They have combined for 17 wins on courts one, two and three. They are also leading Florida State in doubles wins, Carla with 8 and Petra with 9.NEXT TIME OUT• Florida State trails in the all-time series against Wake Forest 18-21. Under head coach Jennifer Hyde, the Garnet and Gold are 11-4 against the Demon Deacons and have outscored them 64-35 in their 15 meetings including two shutout wins by the Noles. Wake is led by junior and No. ___ ranked Emma Davis as well as freshman and No. ___ ranked Eliza Omirou in singles. Davis has gone 14-3 this spring with 13 of those wins coming on court one; she also has four wins against ranked opponents. Omirou is off to a 12-4 start in her freshman campaign with 11 of those wins coming on court two; she is 2-1 against ranked opponents. In doubles, the Demon Deacons are led by Davis and sophomore Chandler Carter, who have combined to go 11-1 with a 6-1 record on court one and a 5-0 record on court 2.• This will be the Seminoles first match against North Carolina A&T. The Aggies 0-13 on the year.Garcia and Hule Entering the Record Books• Sophomore Andrea Garcia and Freshman Petra Hule currently have 17 doubles wins together this season. They need 21 to crack the Top-5 in singles season doubles wins as a pair. • They Need 24 wins to crack the Top-10 in career doubles wins as a pair. • The two also have 20 doubles wins each. They need to get to 25 to crack to top-10 in individual doubles wins in a season. Numbers to Note3 Ranking of Florida when Florida State defeated them on Feb. 3 was tied for the highest ranked win in program history.5 Five different Seminoles have clinched a match this season led by sophomore Andrea Garcia who has clinched three this season.9 Sophomore Andrea Garcia and freshman Petra Hule are in the team lead in singles wins with nine wins each.10 Touly has recorded 10 doubles victories to lead the Noles in doubles wins this spring.11 Florida State is 11-4 against Wake Forest under coach Hyde.16 The ranking of Alle Sanford when Carla Touly beat her a week ago. It was the third and highest ranked win of Touly’s career.17 Newcomers Petra Hule and Carla Touly have combined for a 17-8 record across the No. 1, 2 and 3 positions this season.24 The ranking of Sara Daavettila when Petra Hule defeated her a week ago. It was the second and highest ranked win of her career. 30 Florida State is ranked No. 30 in this week’s Oracle/ITA Rankings. They have now been ranked for six weeks in a row. Touly is also ranked 30th, the highest ranking of her career.59 The Seminoles have outscored their opponents 67-28 in their first 15 matches of the year.105 Freshman Petra Hule comes in ranked No. 105 and is the first time she has been ranked.112 The ranking of Chloe Ouellet-Pizer when junior Julia Mikulski defeated her a week ago. It was Mikulski’s first ranked win of the season.205 Head Coach Jennifer Hyde is the all-time winningest women’s tennis coach in Florida State history with 205 wins. She earned her 200th win after beating FAU 6-1.
