Algebra 1
You are required to submit work EVERY week.
Please submit at least 4 assignments per week
and work through the assignments IN ORDER.
Segment 1 - Modules 1 through 5
Segment 2 - Modules 6 through 10
If you are taking segment 2 only,
please start working in module 6.
You should complete each semester in 16 weeks.
Essay questions – Please be aware that this course has been designed to require higher-level thinking. Therefore, you will need to answer all essay questions as thoroughly as possible since they will affect your overall grade. Also, be sure to show all of your work along with your final answers. Essay questions are graded by me. Please be patient.
28 Day Grace Period
You have 28 days to decide if this course is for you! Within the first 28 days you may withdraw for any reason without penalty.
If you withdraw or are withdrawn from the course after 28 days, you will receive a grade – withdrawal “F”
You are expected to submit at least 4 assignments every week and maintain a passing grade at all times.
By the end of your grace period you are expected to complete:
segment 1 – assessments 1.00 through 2.03
segment 2 – assessments 6.00 through 7.03
Discussion Based Assessment
There is a discussion based
assessment (DBA) at the end of each module.
Do NOT skip them. Just call
me or use the link on the
announcement page to make and
appointment.
Monthly Calls
I will be calling you and a parent at
least once a month throughout the
course to discuss your progress.
Please make these chats a priority. If I leave a message asking you to call me, please RETURN MY CALL.

1. Find a partner by emailing the students in the class and work together on your own.
2. Attend one collaboration session. This is themost efficient and effective way. See my announcement page for days and times.
Do not wait until the end of the segment to complete.
