We are Celebrating our 100th Year of Service!!Griswold Family purchased Phelps Mutual Telephone company (est. 1906) in 1920. We changed the name to Ontario Telephone Company, Inc.Griswold Family purchased Trumansburg Telephone (est. 1907) in 19264th Generation of the Griswold Family managing the day to day operationsWe service over 10,000 telephone company customers each and everyday.Our Telco’s provide services in 7 Counties, and 9 different cities in Upstate, NY.In 2006, Ontario Telephone installed it’s first Next Generation Softswitch. FLTG was established in 1995 as an ISP (internet service provider), FLTG became a Cisco Premier Partner in 2000, and today holds 26 Cisco IP Certifications.The companies combined operations employ 73 people.Offices in Victor, Buffalo, Phelps and Trumansburg.

In 2006 our companies built over 200 miles of Fiber in Monroe, Ontario, Seneca and Tompkins Counties. In 2008 we have over 350 miles of fiber.We are the FIRST independent telephone company, in New York State, to run their entire telephone company network on a Next Generation Softswitch.
