Stepping Up To Success

Goal: 8th grade students will be immersed into the

world of work

Stepping Up to Success

Stepping Up to Success is an 8th

grade event held at FMS each spring

so students have the opportunity to

hear 4 presentations from local

community members about their

careers. Students may have

interests in several of the career

clusters and this gives them an

opportunity to hear about many

careers, what schooling is required

etc.

Speakers this coming spring will

range from:

*Lawyer, Personal Trainer,

Cosmetologist, Conservation Agent,

College Coach, Nurse, Graphic

Designer, and many more.

The 8th graders were asked what

careers they would like to have at

their Stepping Up to Success event

and we want to meet their requests.
