WHAT IS BALANCE DIET?

• balanced diet definition. A diet that contains the proper proportions of carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins, minerals, and water necessary to maintain good health.

• A balanced diet is important because your organs and tissues need proper nutrition to work effectively. Without good nutrition, your body is more prone to disease, infection, fatigue, and poor performance.

WHAT IS JUNK FOOD?

Junk food is a pejorative term for cheap food containing high levels of calories from sugar or fat with little fiber, protein, vitamins or minerals. Use of the term implies that a particular food has little "nutritional value" and contains excessive fat, sugar, salt, and calories . Junk food can also refer to high protein food like meat prepared with saturated fat -which some believe may be unhealthy, although some studies have shown no correlation between saturated fat and cardiovascular diseases; many hamburger outlets, fried chicken outlets and the like supply food considered as junk food.

• Nowadays due to lack of time people prefer fast/junk food which is not good for health • People don’t have their meals on time which may disturb their

digestive processes • Many times people overeat which is also not good for health• consumption of junk foods with irregular intake of meals may

contribute to many health problems such as acidity. gastroenteritis, obesity, high cholesterol and high blood pressure.

• High calories• Low fiber• High amount of starch and fats• Low proteins• Low vitamins and minerals• Leads to many diseases• High consumption of caffeine • obesity

BEVERAGES PREFERRED MORE THAN WATER

• Nowadays people prefer drinking cold drinks and energy drinks which are not good for our health because it contains very high level of caffeine , which affects our nervous system , and caffeine is also know as a drug , which is addictive.

WHAT SHOULD BE DONE TO PREVENT DISEASE?

• We should take a proper diet consisting of carbohydrates, proteins , vitamin and minerals.

• we should reduce eating fast food , we should eat healthy , fibers food which is good for our health

• We should stop drinking beverages like energy drinks n cold drinks which contains caffeine

• We should have our meals on time
