Growing Lasting Solutions to Hunger
FRB welcomes you ...to join our efforts to alleviate hunger worldwide. We support people in their communities as they work to address hunger and poverty through agricultural development. Why Agriculture? 75% of the world's 1 billion hungry people are farmers. Therefore, agriculture offers a unique opportunity to millions of the poorest and hungriest people around our world to improve their lives. By engaging with farmers and their communities we can work together to improve their health, livelihoods and futures and make a lasting impact on hunger and poverty.

We each want to improve our lives, our communities and our world.
Join thousands of people who work creating local solutions to big problems. One way to get involved in FRB is through a unique community based project in which people work together. We call these community projects “growing projects” and you can participate in an existing one or start your own. The funds your project donates are used locally in small villages around the world to support people in growing their own food. Dear FRB Friends, FRB’s commitment to growth is built on the idea that, for our world to be a better and more just place, we must all embrace change. We must work together to bring about changes that will provide opportunities for people in some of the most difficult situations around the world. We have chosen agriculture as our path of choice because we feel compelled that it can make a lasting difference for so many of the poorest and hungriest in our world are living in rural areas where farming is possible. As we face a new year in a world of uncertainties, we can be certain of one thing. Our work together is making a difference for hundreds of thousands of people. Our collective efforts to bring lasting change have proven themselves effective. Now it is time to take the next step. It is time to be bold as we step out as servant leaders to listen, understand, learn, network, implement, change and grow. We know there are people who suffer today that do not need to tomorrow. We know that we can be a catalyst in people’s lives who need support as well as those that have support to offer. Poverty can be as overwhelming for those trapped in poverty as for those watching from a distance wondering if what they do can really make a difference. Because of FRB, we know there are ways we can make a difference. It is incumbent upon us to share the good news that change can happen, one person, one village, one farmer at a time. We have been witness to the changes. Growing lasting solutions to hunger is a journey which we do not take alone. If you are new to FRB and would like to join us on this journey, you are welcome. If you have been on this journey with us already, thank you for all you do. Through prayer and effort, we have and will continue to make a difference. May God bless you, Marv Baldwin
