To get guests to book your property, first you have to grab their attention with an attractive property page – and photos are essential.

n this guide, we’ll explain how to take striking pictures that’ll make your property irresistible to families.

● Use a digital camera – the latest smartphones also have great cameras

● Only shoot landscape (horizontal) photos – they look the best on Booking.com

● Photos need a high resolution (at least 2048 x 1080 pixels)

● Take pictures from a height of 3-5 feet● If photographing guests, never show their faces

● Make sure your subject (i.e. person, amenity) is in the center of the image, since photos can be cropped once uploaded to Booking.com

● Don’t get too close to the subject – leave enough distance to center the subject

● Remember that the image visible on the Extranet gallery is a pre-cropped photo
