The Virtual Seminar will be offered on

Wednesdays from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. ET Sept.

3, 17; Oct. 8, 22; Nov. 5, 19; and Dec. 3, 17,

2014. We will use the powerful Maestro

Conference technology which will allow us to

see presentations online live as well as have

interactive telephone conferencing including

breakout groups. Participants are encourage

to have headsets for their phones. The

sessions will involve long distance calls. If

persons do not have unlimited long distance,

they may want to purchase calling cards for

about 4 cents per minute.

Leader: Dr. Larry Ousley

(Larry@LarryOusley.com) is the

Executive Director of the

Intentional Growth Center (IGC).

Before coming to IGC in 2000, he

served as senior pastor of three

churches of over 1,000 members

in the Holston Conference of the

UMC. He is a life coach recognized through the

International Coach Federation (ICF) as an

Associate Certified Coach (ACC) in 2004 and as a

Professional Certified Coach (PCC) in 2010. Larry

is also an Endorsed Life Coach by the United

Methodist Endorsing Agency, is a Certified

Organizational Relationship Systems Coach

(ORSCC), and is as a faculty member of

Coaching4Clergy, an ICF approved international

coaching school. He was an author in the anthology

— Ministry 3.0: How Today’s Church Leaders are

Using Coaching to Transform Ministry. Larry has

led approximately 10 long-term group leadership

coaching projects and has over 2,000 hours of

experience coaching pastors, district

superintendents, and conference staff persons.

Participants in this training will:

- Gain a strong understanding of coaching and the

distinction between coaching and therapy, consulting

and mentoring.

- Observe and debrief LIVE coaching sessions by the

presenter.

- Learn core coaching skills that can be incorporated

into their work setting.

- Have opportunities to practice these coaching skills

and receive feedback.

- Experience a combination of coaching theory and

practice.

- Learn a model for having a “coaching conversation.”

1.5 CEU’s will be offered to those who have completed

Coaching Skills for Ministry, either on-site or virtually.

Cost: $197.00 either on-site or virtually.
