Why Mr Sampath Specialises InComputer Aided Surgery

Many studies have shown that knee replacements that are properly done (for example, well-aligned and balanced) are likely to last longer and feel better.

Computer Aided Surgery can help the surgeon align the patient’s knee replacements with a degree of accuracy and consistency beyond that achieved by traditional methods. It can also help in (1) ACL Reconstruction and (2) can also help in adjusting the tension of the ligaments around the knee.

Jack Heald, Professional Rugby Coach.I had a computer aided ACL reconstruction at The Bluespot Knee Clinic. Since then I have been able to do my day job as a professional rugby coach to a high level along with play some rugby & cricket in my leisure time. The Bluespot Knee Clinic provided the top quality level of surgery that I needed for such an active lifestyle.

Patient TestimonialsArthroscopy Patient Simon HargreavesI am a test pilot, paid to fly all the UK’s latest high performance fighters at the edge of their flight envelope. I currently fly the Typhoon, Harrier, Tornado and Hawk. I also lead an active lifestyle away from work and play a variety of sports. In the last few years I have sustained a knee and a shoulder injury, both of which had a significant impact on my ability to lead my normal lifestyle. Mr Sampath performed an Arthroscopy on both problems, with total success. I had a full range of pain free movement in both joints very quickly after the operation in each case. Mr Sampath has a superb style, demeanour and bedside manner about him: he is open and honest, reassuring, extremely likeable, confident and clearly an expert in his field. I hold him in the highest regard and would cite him as a model for all those whose profession requires them to deal with people in difficult circumstances.

ACL Reconstruction Patient Neil CustI just wanted to say thank you very much for all your assistance and help with my rehabilitation after you performed the COMPUTER AIDED DOUBLE BUNDLE ACL RECONSTRUCTION. I am progressing really well and I am having no problems with my knee and I know everyone heals at different speeds and I hope to be back to full fitness in the next 6 months or so. As you can see from my photo’s attached, I am able to play golf, go sandboarding and have had no problems. Mr Sampath has my permission to add the photo’s and the comments to his website. Kind regards Neil Cust

Total Knee Replacement Patient Harry Le-MoineMr Sampath significantly changed my life for the better and eight years on, at 63, I am on full power. I think I was Mr Sampath’s 1st patient with one leg, who urgently needed a new knee. I had at the last minute cancelled an operation at my local hospital because I felt very uncomfortable with the registrar’s total lack of personality and perceived care. Fortunately I was referred to Mr Sampath by a mutual friend so I telephoned immediately and was seen immediately, examined, x-rayed and an action plan was drawn up there and then. The operation was very straight forward, done using a spinal injection; I even talked to him (a little) whilst he was replacing my knee. As he said, it was minimally invasive and computer aided surgery ensured perfect alignment. Following a short rehabilitation period I had absolutely no more pain; I can walk perfectly and lead my normal high energy life. To sum up, Mr Sampath is an extremely nice person, clearly highly talented, an evangelist on immediate action and 100% focused on getting this right first time. (Harry Le-Moine, Retired Business Development Consultant, Leyland, Lancashire).
