Welcome to the 2018 NoNotes.com User Guide! Thank you for exploring NoNotes.com to help in recording and transcribing your ever important notes, interviews and phone calls. We’re so happy to have you join our band of 500,000 users globally.

The NoNotes.com Call recording system allows users to record any call, anywhere in North America, Australia, as well as the UK and EU (France, Netherlands, Italy, Ireland), save the call in the cloud and order transcription anytime at the touch of a finger!

Users Can Also:-Email recordings or transcripts to colleagues or friends-Share with your network-Sort/Group recordings into organized lists-Replay and Download Recordings indefinitely-Post to any Social Media

Introduction

Call Recording Overview

There are 2 ways to record calls through the NoNotes.com System.

1. If you are an iPhone user: you can download the Call Recording App available the Apple App Store. Just search “Call Recording by NoNotes” or “NoNotes” and find the blue App icon. Download or “GET”.

2. Users can simply dial 1-888-296-7746 (saving the toll free number in your contacts can make this easier). Then, just follow the prompts to make your outgoing call! See Manual Mode Operation for detailed steps to get started.




How to Sign Up

To Sign up for Call Recording:

1. Go to www.NoNotes.com2. Fill in the box that says Register Now, Free!3. Go to My Account, Manage Numbers, and add your telephone number you’d like to record calls with.4. You are now signed up to our Freemium account, which gives 20 Free Call Recording Minutes!5. If you would like to upgrade to a larger Call Recording package, go to My Account > Subscriptions > Take me to Call Recording.

OR download the App!

1. Go to the Apple App Store and search “Call Recording by NoNotes”, and download the App.2. Open the App and enter a valid email address, phone number, and create any 6-digit pin (Numeric).3. This will also register you for a FREE trial account (20 minutes).4. To Upgrade go to My Account > Buy More Time.

App Call Recording Outbound

To begin using your NoNotes Call Recording App, turn on your iPhone and find the NoNotes.com call recording App.

Outbound calling:1. Open the App on your phone and select Record My Call OR Record and Transcribe.2. Select a contact, or access the dial pad by clicking the small Orange phone. This should be the person/number you’re trying to call.3. Hit “Make Call”4. You will receive an Incoming call to your iPhone.5. Answer this call, and the recording is beginning.6. When finished, just hang up as normal!


Outbound Call

Manual Mode Operation Outbound

To begin using NoNotes Call recording without a Mobile App, (Ie. Using another phone, or justprefer to not use an App) simply follow these below steps:

1. Create an account at NoNotes.com2. Go to My Account > Manage Numbers to add your phone number.3. Select a call recording package if you wish, but you are on the Freemium 20 Minutes Free upon sign up. 4. Once you’re ready to call, just dial 1-888-296-7746 from your registered phone number.5. The system will automatically bump you in, just follow the prompts, and hang up asnormal when finished!

TIP: Keep in mind you can also use Manual Mode from ANY phone – when calling in, you’ll just be prompted to “Log In” using your registered phone number and the 6 digit pin selected when adding your phone number. You will be prompted to enter this information, then can continue to make call as normal.


Inbound Calls / Already Active Calls

There are 2 options you can use to record when receiving inbound calls.

Option 11. During the Call, open up the NoNotes App.2. Select Record Active Call3. Click YES on the alert that pops up.4. Once you hear the Beep, select Merge Call* on your iPhone’s screen.

*Some users subject to merge issues depending on the service provider. Please [email protected] if you find your merge button does not work and require a workaround. We have a solution for you, too!

Option 21. Have the person calling you dial 1-888-405-28192. They will need to enter your NoNotes Extension, which can be found under My Account> Manage Numbers > Extension is listed beside the phone number.3. You will receive an incoming call to your registered phone number that will already be recording. Hang up as normal when finished.


Transcription


Buy Transcription Time

To buy Transcription time, log into www.NoNotes.com. You will be redirected to your Dashboard which shows a summary to your account.

1. Go to My Account > Subscriptions > Take me to Transcription2. Purchase Transcription package that best fits your needs.

1. In the App, go to My Account > Buy More Time.2. Select the Transcription package you prefer.

1. If you wish to not pre purchase credit, Log in at www.NoNotes.com and go to My Recordings > Click on the recording you wish to submit for transcription > Hit Transcribe this! You will be prompted to pay per minute (only if you do not have credit pre purchased already).

Submitting a File for Transcription

On the Mobile App:1. Go to My Calls2. Click on the call you wish to transcribe3. Hit Transcribe this!

On the Website:1. Log into www.NoNotes.com 2. Go to My Recordings, and click on the call you wish to transcribe.3. Hit Transcribe this!


Downloading/Others

Retrieving/Downloading your Call Recording

1. Log in at www.NoNotes.com2. Go to My Recordings and click on the recording you wish to retrieve3. Click Download and you will be given download instructions.

Having trouble downloading?

On a PC? Try to right click on the link that says My Recording and then select Save Link/Save Target As.

On a Mac? Hold the CTRL key and click your mouse on the My Recording link and then select Save Link/Save Target As.

Troubleshooting the App

If the App is not working on your device:-Ensure your Data/Wifi connection is active and strong.-Ensure Do Not Disturb is turned OFF-Some Jail Broken phones may not support the App

If the App is still unsuccessful and you require to immediately make a call, just use the 1-888-296-7746 recording method. The recording will go to the same place to be retrieved. We can then troubleshoot the App issue you’re having together!
