Emily SituMaster of Business Administration

The first thing that surprised Emily about studying atFederation Business School, was the diversity in ageof her classmates. “In China, when you study an MBA,everyone will be pretty much the same age. At FedUniI studied with people of different ages and they canshare their working experiences with you.” Prior tostudying her MBA Emily worked as a Marketing Officerfor a Hong Kong government organisation in China forfour years. She is now the General Manager for a large agency.“I was attracted to Federation Business School by onestatement: ‘Come to Ballarat and you can experiencethe real Australia’. Ballarat is so different to where Igrew up in China. In the building I worked in atGuangzhou, there were 30,000 people.” “I’m still intouch with some of the teachers I met. We updateeach other, and I ask them for advice in my career.”“The MBA is about helping you to think strategically, which enables you to develop a management style. The Federation Business School MBA was the mostmemorable time in my life so far.”
