Tax and duty free liquids
It is possible to carry tax and duty free liquids as long as these are packed in a sealed and untampered bag with a purchase receipt. The following conditions apply:

Bags that do not meet the above-mentioned ICAO norms must be confiscated and disposed of by security staff.
Tax and duty free liquids must be produced at the security checkpoint and will undergo an additional control. After clear-ance, they can be taken on board.

How to pack correctly
• In your hand baggage you may only carry liquids in containers that hold a maximum of 100 ml.
• Pack these containers into a transparent, re-sealable 1-litre plastic bag while at home.
• Pack spare batteries and power banks (charging devices with a battery) in your hand baggage only. Secure batteries individually against short circuits.
• Containers with more than 100 ml of liquids, as well as knives and scissors with blades over 6 cm in length, are only permitted in checked baggage.
• If you are only travelling with hand baggage, you may not take these items with you on your journey.
• Liquid medication, baby food and special foods required during the flight can be transported in containers of more than 100 ml in your hand baggage (following a check).
• Lighters and matches may not be placed in your baggage. You may however take a lighter or box of matches you are carrying on your person.
• Items such as fuel paste, sparklers, fireworks, batteries with a performance of over 160 Wh, etc. are not permitted in any baggage.
Spare batteries in luggage
For security reasons, spare batteries may not be transported in checked luggage. Spare batteries up to a maximum capacity of 160 watt hours may be placed in hand luggage. The following conditions apply:• No more than two spare batteries if the nominal energy
of each battery exceeds 100 watt hours• Batteries must be protected against short circuits
Batteries inside a device (up to 100 watt hours) may be placed in hand as well as checked luggage. All batteries with a capacity exceeding 160 watt hours are generally prohibited.
The airlines reserve the right to make further provisions if necessary.
Liquids in hand luggage
Liquids, gels, creams, pastes, sprays are only permitted in hand luggage in containers with a maximum size of 100 ml (1 dl)• All containers (tubes, jars, bottles) must be able to fit easily in
a transparent, re-sealable plastic bag (such as a freezer bag) with a maximum size of one litre
• This plastic bag must be presented for inspection at the airport security check
• Only one plastic bag per person is allowed. This limit also applies to children and babies
Exceptions for liquids in containers exceeding 100 ml:• Liquid medication, baby food and special dietary requirements
in the amounts needed for the duration of the journey• Tax and duty free liquids packed in intact, tamper-evident

No firearms, stabbing weapons or explosive materials
Firearms and ammunition are prohibited in hand luggage. This includes softair weapons, firearm imitations as well as toy guns. Stabbing weapons are also prohibited in hand luggage. Trans-porting weapons in checked luggage requires prior authoriza-tion.It is prohibited to carry any kinds of explosive or incendiary materials in both hand and checked luggage.
1 litre plastic bags are widely available.It must be possible to open and reclose the bag using a grip seal or zip-lock closure. Ties, rubber bands and the like are not permitted.
