A Forensic Engineer determines how a particular device fails. They use scientific tests and data to conclude how a particular device failed in an accident.

A Forensic Engineer needs a bachelor’s degree in engineering, a degree in a physical science or mathematics, and a degree in an electrical, electronics, mechanical, or civil engineering field.

When arriving on the scene of a crime, a Forensic Engineer needs to analyze the accident and recreate it to determine how the device failed. They need to look for clues about the accident.
