BACKGROUNDEach year, 1.200 containers with tyres arrive in Hardenberg; on average, we have 60,000 tyres in stock for a varietyof sectors.

Thanks to our dedicated team, which boasts 230 people in the

meantime, we are able to distribute this huge quantity of tyres,

maintain contacts with customers and ensure that they receive

their tyres on time.

Heuver Tyrewholesale has been supplying truck, agricultural and earthmoving tyres for over 45 years. We can offer a huge range of strong import brands and renowned A brands.


Background

Mans Heuver starts a tyre business in Den Ham.

Bulk purchasing and sales activities in earthmoving tyres

are started at the site in Hardenberg.

Heuver Tyrewholesale starts to exclusively import

and distribute Aeolus truck tyres from China.

Opening of state-of-the-art distribution centre in Hardenberg.

On a plot of 4.3 hectares, Heuver Tyrewholesale has

a covered storage capacity of 12,000 m², with 8 loading

and unloading bays and 1,000 m² of offi ce space.

Expansion of storage capacity to 24,000 m².

Heuver now employs 230 people; including teams in countries

such as Germany, Great Britain and Romania. Also in 2011,

a bonus shop was added to the web-shop and a mobile version

of the Heuver website was introduced.

Heuver incorporates wholesale activities

for agricultural tyres.

Both activities are incorporated into a single company

in Den Ham - Heuver Tyrewholesale. The company is given

a more international appeal when Heuver starts to import

tyres from all over the world.

Remoulded tyresIf you are looking for remoulded tyres, then we recommend our house

brand Maxfi eld. Maxfi eld tyres are available in dozens of different

versions, have an excellent reputation and combine reliability with high

quality and strength. In order to remould tyres, we also purchase suitable

carcasses. Carcasses are only considered for remoulding after thorough

inspection. That is our guarantee.

Of course, you can also bring your own carcasses to have them remoulded.

Depending on the specifi cations, the tread will be renewed using the desired

rubber type, tread thickness and profi ling. We will come and collect your

carcasses, renew them and then return them as remoulded tyres.

Consideration for fellow human beings

Home of Hope and Dreams foundationHeuver structurally supports the Home of Hope and Dreams foundation.

Not only by donating money, but also by making it possible for six

employees to travel to Uganda each year. That is where they help

instigator Gini Pullen and her team to build an orphanage.

In the meantime, Gini Pullen and her team of local employees are looking

after ten children. The aim is to look after even more children in the

orphanage. This will require a larger orphanage and more fi nances.

Jan Heuver: “Unfortunately, the dream of Gini and her foundation, to build

a new orphanage for 50 orphans, has not yet been realised due to a lack

of fi nancing.”

29 year-old Gini Pullen, who was born in Collendoorn, The Netherlands, encountered vast numbers of orphans duringan internship in Uganda six years ago; and she immediately knew that she wanted to do something about it. Along with a few former classmates from the PABO, she set up the Home of Hope and Dreams foundation. In 2009, she decided to go and live in Uganda and opened a small orphanage. Almost all the children come from backgrounds marred by mistreatment and abuse. The mission of Gini and her foundation is to help these children to rediscover their lost hope. She wants to do this by ensuring that children receive a good education, healthcareand a loving environment.
