3. The key fmdings of Drive test are summarized below:

(i) Dehradun City: A1l the TSPs have met the <=2% of Drop Call Rate exceptAirtel (3G), Tata (3G) & Airtel (Volte). A1lthe service providers have met thebenchmark of >=95% of CSSR. Maximum throughput has been observed inIdea (3G) & RJio (4G).

(ii) Indore City: All the TSPs have met the <=2% of Drop Call Rate exceptBSNL, (2G), Tata (CDMA), BSNL (3G), Vodafone (3G) & Airtel (Volte). All theservice providers have met the benchmark of >=95% of CSSR. Maximumthroughput has been observed in Tata (3G) & Airtel (4G).

(iii)Jhansi City: All the TSPs have met the <=2% of Drop Call Rate except BSNL(3G). All the service providers have met the benchmark of >=95% of CSSR.Maximum throughput has been observed in BSNL (3G) & Vodafone (4G).

(iv)Leh City: All the TSPs have met the <=2% of Drop Call Rate except BSNL(3G). Only Aitel (3G) is meeting the benchmark of =95% of CSSR. Maximumthroughput has been observed in Airtel (3G) & Airte1 (4G).

(v) Salem City: All the TSPs have met the <=2% of Drop Call Rate except BSNL(3G). All the service providers have met the benchmark of >=95% of CSSR.Maximum throughput has been observed in Airtel (3G) & Airtel (4G).

(vi)Tiruppur City: All the TSPs have met the .s.2% of Drop Call Rate and >=95%of CSSR. Maximum throughput has been observed in Tata (3G) & Airtel(4G).

The drive test in the city of Dehradun in UP - West LSA was conducted for aperiod of 3 days during 11th to 13th September 2018. It covered a route ofapproximately 250 KMs and data tests conducted on 6 hotspots. Cellular mobiletelephone service providers included namely Airtel, BSNL, Idea, Tata, Vodafoneand Jio. Tests included 2G, 3G and 4G technologies.

Definitions

Call Attempt: An attempt to achieve a connection to device attached to atelecommunication network.

Block Call <=3%: A call that is not connected because there is no free channel inradio access network to serve a call attempt.

CSSR (Call Setup Success Rate) >=95%: Ratio of Established Calls to CallAttempts.

Drop Call Rate <=2%: An ability to maintain a call once it has been correctlyestablished.

Hand over Success Rate (HOSR)>=95%: Ratio between successful handovers tohandover requested. (Handover is a process by which a mobile telephone call istransferred from one base station to another as the subscriber passes theboundary of a cell).

Rx Quality >95%: Measure of quality of voice.

Download Throughput: Data transmission rate for downloading a test file from atest server to a test device.

Upload Throughput: Data transmission rate for uploading a test file from a testdevice to test server.

Webbrowsing delay (secs): Average time taken to fully load the website tested.

Video Steaming delay (secs): Average time taken to fully download the videotested.

Latency (m secs): Time taken for a packet to reach the receiving endpoint aftertransmitted from the sending point.
