The PTS module:Workflow and details of functions

■ Links to any downstream system

(ERP/WWS)

Problem-free integration into existing IT environ- ments. Transfer of all dispatch relevant data including plausibility check.

■ Packing station

Connection of electric scales with automatic import of the weight. Operation via hand-held scanner or touch screen. Capturing of package information.

■ Label printing

Printing of labels based on the specific requirements of the respective transport services provider.

■ Data Transfer

Electronic transfer of data—in the appropriate format of the respective carrier.

■ Generation of dispatch notification

Creation of automatic dispatch notification for the recipient of the goods—including tracking information.

■ Return of data to downstream system

(ERP/WWS)

Return of data to the respective downstream system, for instance packing data tracking information, freight costs, etc.

■ Freight cost calculation

Automatic calculation of freight costs or selection of the most favourable transport services provider. Calculated costs can be reported back to the downstream system and are available for statistics and evaluations.

By the way: Our system can also be used for final loading checks.
