ENGLISH METHODOLOGY

Teaching a new language is of a great job for teachers beacuse they have to take into considerasion some aspects as follows: their own role as teachers, students, and the enviroment.

TEACHERS’ ROLE o As teachers their role is of vital

importance in the development of the learning process.

o They have to be prepared to face the differences between their students. (Learning style/ behaviour)

o Teachers have to keep in mind their lerners’ needs.

TEACHERS’ ROLE o Teachers are asked to apply

some methods and principles to fulfil with their objectives. (Lerner-centred approach, comunicative approach, a model of motivation and so forth.)

STUDENTS They are considered as human being with thoughts and feelings who act in a logical and sensible manner.

STUDENTS When they are in confidence they are able to:• Communicate in real situations• Use the language to communicate

to others freely• Enjoy learning a second language

in a natural way
