MISSION

Mission Statement from Lonnetta Albright founder of Forward Movement, Inc.:

From the NAPW profile: I began my professional life as a High School teacher and then was propelled on a professional journey in the Human Services field. Over the past 25 years I have built a tremendous career, reputation and professional life as an administrator, manager, leader, trainer, public speaker, and mentor. I’ve spent the past 15 years as Executive Director of a multi-state training and system change organization at the University of Illinois at Chicago. As part of a larger national network I have traveled and trained nationally and internationally including Canada and Africa.

I founded my first company, the LHA Consulting Group, Inc. in 2002 offering leadership and professional development trainings for individuals; strategic planning and organizational development for corporations; grant writing, curriculum and product development for corporate and not for profit organizations, churches and small businesses; retreats and seminars for women; and project work upon request.

In 2012 I created Forward Movement Inc. Through coaching, training and consultation, I empower individuals in their 20s, 30s, 40s and beyond to achieve success that’s balanced and transformative. For employers, my services help to create supportive and developmental work environments for valued employees and ultimately healthy and productive organizations. My hobbies and interests include traveling, reading, writing and dancing. I joined NAPW to expand my networks, learn from and meet other professional women and to continue my own personal and professional development with the intention of paying it forward.
