WHO WE ARE:

Founded in 2008, WDH is a non-profit 501 C-3 organization composed of Wyoming residents that have a love of hunting and a personal connection to disabled hunters.

OUR GOAL:

To provide an affordable hunt for hunters who are disabled.

To assist the hunters in the sport of hunting To financially assist hunters who can not

afford to come hunting. To provide a life changing experience

PAST HISTORY

WDH, has provided hunts for deer and elk for the last five years.

The first year WDH hosted four hunters, and we had a 100% success! The first year we had about 20 to 30 volunteers.

The second year we hosted 8 hunters, and 7 out of 8 hunters harvested deer. The second year we had about 75 volunteers. In 2010 & 2011, we were able to provide the hotel rooms for

the hunters and all of the meals. In 2011, we accommodated ten deer hunters and two elk hunters

7 out of deer hunters filled and both elk hunters filled WDH had about 125 volunteers involved last year.

Past History

In 2012 , we hosted 10 deer hunters and seven elk hunters. 7 out of 10 deer hunters harvested and 5 out

of seven elk hunters harvested their elk. In 2013, we had 10 deer hunters and 19

elk hunters. 14 of the 19 elk hunters harvested their elk All 10 deer hunters harvested their deer. We hosted 11 disabled veterans in 2013

2014 project

Heart Mtn. Nature Project WDH is teaming with the Heart Mtn.

Nature Conservancy to establish habitat restoration.

WDH had a work day in August and help to plant willows for wildlife habitat improvement.
