FINDING A SITEOnce you have moved forward as a franchisee the first thing we do is find a site.Most people have never had to deal with building owners and leasing agents. Lease negotiations can be overwhelming. Let our experts help you with proper negotiations while getting the best possible rate and seeing that the lease agreement is structured properly.We negotiate the best lease terms and conditions requesting TI money (tenant improvement) along with 4-6 months free rent. We also negotiate a free space to pre-sell memberships during construction. There is no additional cost for finding and negotiating your site.

ZOO UNIVERSITY

Once we start the process of finding a site you will come to Fort Lauderdale and attend Zoo University. School is for 3 days and you may have a Choice of either Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Thursday- Friday from 9am to 5pm.

TRAINING

Marketing and advertising, Pre-opening strategies, Businessoperating procedure, effective development of revenue sources, membership promotion and sales, new member prospecting tools and resources, equipment operation and safety.

PRE-SALE:

An important part of the success formula sell as many memberships as we can before the clubs opening day. Once the club opens you will enjoy receiving cash flow from your membership dues.

REVENUE:The main source of revenue will come from both enrollment fees and monthly dues. The Zoo fitness franchise has a low monthly dues program and helps create membership sales which increases sales volume for the franchisee. Your dues may vary based on demographics and services at your facility. MEMBERSHIP RATES:

At the Zoo Health Club we believe everyone should be able to afford a fitness membership. You will find the membership rates affordable just for you or your entire family. The Zoo Health Club is truly the home of Affordable Fitness. Enrollment fees are between $29 and $99 and monthly dues are between $10.00 and $29 per month. We also offer family memberships at discounted and affordable rates.

BRING IN A FRIEND:

Refer a friend that joins and receive discounted membership dues. Rate discounts will vary per location.We hope you found within these pages some valuable information and that you want to learn more about the Zoo Health Club Franchise.

EXPENSE CONTROL:

Controlling your overhead goes hand in hand with revenue and having a balanced financial statement. Net profit is what it’s all about. Our system will show you how to keep your expenses down while increasing your revenue.

EQUIPMENT LEASE:

Our experts will work with you on selecting the best equipment for thesize of your Zoo Health Club and your budget. Leasing is a good choice and our experts will put you in touch with the helpful leasing companies that specialize in the health and fitness industry.You will need about 20% down and will pay your lease monthly for either 3 or 4 years. At the end of the term you pay $1.00 and you own the equipment.

CLUB INSURANCE:

We will recommend the finest and least expensive companies for your insurance needs. Your club liability insurance cost is very reasonable and runs around $200 per month.

ENROLLMENTS:

Membership enrollment fees will vary based on time of year, promotions and area.

NEXT STEPS

Fill out the franchise application to receive your FDD (Franchise Disclosure Document) Fax or e-mail your application to the attention of your franchise counselor. Within the FDD you will find all the information about our franchise including all the costs to start a Zoo Franchise. Once you review the FDD you will

have many questions and one of our franchise counselors will be happy to answer those questions for you.

You will be invited to Fort Lauderdale to attend a full day at Corporate Headquarters for a Discovery Day. Discovery days are 2-3 days each week of the month, check with your counselor for the days and dates of the discovery days for the month you want to attend.

Book your flights and enjoy 1 FREE night of hotel stay. Discovery day starts at 9am and ends at 5pm. If you are leaving that evening you will not want to miss any of the Discovery Day presentation leave no earlier than 6 pm.

You will be picked up at your hotel on the morning of discovery day and have a tour of one of our Zoo Health Club locations. Next stop, corporate headquarters and meet the corporate support team. Your day will be full and you can expect to learn what it’s like to be a Zoo Health Club franchise owner.
