Trustee’s Corner
We have added to our trustees with Gloria coming aboard. It has been nice having another trustee to help
out with our duties. It has been nice seeing the improvements to the lodge with the floor, painting and
fixing up the bar. We as always are looking for volunteers to do a variety of things in the lodge so if you
have some spare time go talk to any trustee or officer.
Worthy President Brothers Another month has passed. The attitude and finances of the lodge are greatly improved due to the fact that that more mem-bers are enjoying the lodge. We are having more music & ac-tivities. Thank you to all who have come & continue to come and support our lodge. We have a person who has donated $1,000.00 to the roof fund. He is willing to match other people who donate $1,000.00. Did you hear that, he is willing to match others who donate $1,000.00. This would greatly help our roof fund. Please consider helping toward our roof fund. About Membership - Please help us with new members. Don't you know somebody that you can invite to join our lodge and enjoy the dancing, dinning & social events. Remember every member helps! We need volunteers and you don't have to give a lot of time 2 hours/month to more are always welcome. Think about having gatherings, reunions, family dinners or just plain get together here at the lodge. It is a great place to meet your friends for lunch, Sunday breakfast, dinners, karaoke, dancing, and other events. Remember, Think Positive it will always make your day Better! Jim Morgan Worthy President
Junior Past Worthy President Well we have passed the ¾ mark of the eagle year and are still going. We still need a lot of volunteers for various things that go along with keeping the lodge going. A lot of changes with bands are taking place so please come down and check them out and let the people in charge know if you like or dislike them (new bands). The menu has also changed so come down and try it out. Remember the motto of being an Eagle is “IF I CANNOT SPEAK WELL OF AN EAGLE I WILL NOT SPEAK ILL OF HIM”. And remember we are PEOPLE HELPING PEOPLE. Fraternally, Ron Weathers
Madam President Sister and Brothers, the month of Feb-ruary was bus with the Heart Fund Charity. Chairperson Delilah did a great job. Thanks to everybody for their contributions, support and help. The lodge also had some new things happening in February. PLEASE come on down to YOUR lodge and check out the new bands, new menu in the dining room, new cook (food is good!), and new activities. If you missed it in Feb some of the same things will be hap-pening this month, March. A big THANKS to our Aerie brothers for coming to the lodge on their non-meeting Tuesday to help Auxiliary # 2081 celebrate their 90th anniversary. That's a lot of history!! Sisters I hope you can come to a meeting once a month or so, I try to keep it to an hour, and we need your help to get us to the 100th anniversary, 2027!!!!!!! Peggy Rummell Madam President

The Eagle and Change This about the eagle, but we can apply it to our selves and to Our lodge. The Eagle has the longest life span of any bird. It can live up to 70 years. But to reach this age, the the eagle must make a hard decision. In its forty’s, its long and flexible talons can no longer grab prey, which serves as food. It’s long and sharp beak becomes bent it’s old-aged and heavy wings, due to Thick feathers become stuck to it’s chest. Then the eagle has two choices, die or go through painful process of Change that last’s for 150 days. The process requires the eagle fly to a moun-tain top and sit on its nest. There the eagle nocks it’s beak off against a rock and waits for a new beak to Back, then it will pluck out it’s talons. When the talons grow back, the eagle Starts plucking out it’s old feathers. And after 5 months takes, the eagle takes its famous flight of rebirth. It lives for thirty years. Why is change needed? Many times, in order to survive we have to start a change process. We sometimes need to get rid of old memories and habits, and other Past tradi-tions. Only freed from past burdens, can we take advantage of the Present. When it rains, most birds head for shelter. The Eagle is the only bird that to avoid the rain soars above the rain clouds to avoid the rain. We can take lessons from the Eagle, after all we were named for this Magnificent bird Worthy Vice President, Jack LaBox

Note from the Editor
I have been receiving many articles and information
that different personnel want put in the Eagle Beak
late. The cutoff for receiving information is the 10th
of the month. To effectively produce a quality pub-
lication I will no longer accept late submissions for
the Eagle Beak. I will hold the article and put it in
the next month. Thank You.
