all in all – celkově vzato, když se to vezme kolem a kolem
at all – vůbec
all but – všichni, kromě
for all – přes, navzdory – (For all her sensitivity)
give/put one’s all into sth – dávat do něčeho vše
in all – celkem – There were six duck in all.
all in – se vším všudy (např. cena večeře)
of all – ze všech – first of all, last of all, best of all
of all people/ things – zrovinka (They were singing, of all things, Yesterday.)
not all that – ne až zas tak, ne zase tolik (I don’t know him all that well)

so much for – tolik o (nějaký neúspěch) – So much for my trip.
not much of – nic moc – (It hasn’t been much of a holiday. Byly to takové nic moc prázdniny.)
nothing much – nic moc, nic důležitého.
much less – a už teprve ne, neřku-li (He wasn’t a leftist, much less a revolutionary).
as much as – celých He earned as much as 6 million dollars.
as much – I thought as much – To mě napadlo.

much too – příliš (The skin is much too delicate)
