Chess Enrichment By Chess-Ed THU | Grades K—5 $145 The chess program will be an exciting introduction to the "sport of the mind--CHESS". We will cover some history, the basics and beyond of chess, which will include the board, pieces, piece values and movement. Opening theory, middle game planning and end game combinations plus strategies and tactics will be provided also as the group develops their skill set and knowledge. Register TODAY!

Fun Fluency Spanish THU | Grades K—5 $120 Join Fun Fluency on an afterschool aventura of learning a new language—the way your brain was meant to learn it! Students learn Spanish naturally through immersion, movement, games, songs, rhythm, reading and acting out/listening to stories. Our storytelling-based method focuses on long-term re-tention, not just memorization. Students will quickly see how fun and easy it is to understand, read, and write in Spanish while being immersed in language, play, and laughter. Jr. FUN-gineering, Robotics & Coding By TechStars by Computer Explorers TUE | Grades 1—3 $155 Two GREAT programs in one! Working in pairs, young Engineers will use LEGO® simple machine kits to learn about structures and forces, levers, wheels and axles, pulleys and gears! Next, you will receive daily EWR’s (engineering work request) from C.A.K.E. (Creative Answers Kids Engineering Company) and you’ll work in teams to learn about robotics, and build & program your own robotic creations using the LEGO™ WeDo Robotics System.This unique system, designed by the experts at MIT, teaches about simple machines, engineering, programming and more! Note: no computers are used in the Simple Machine component of the program but ARE used for Robotics.

Sticky Fingers Cooking WED | Grades K—5 $175 THYME to TURNIP the BEET on WHAT KIDS EAT! Let your child release their inner chef! Students will prepare and eat healthy, globally inspired recipes all while learn- ing to cook in a fun, engaging and real- world way! We will cover terminology, ingredients and fun nutrition facts (even a few bad jokes!) We will practice meas- urements, use a wide array of cooking utensils all while preparing the freshest ingredients. Full recipes will be created each class with our AWESOME master chef Sticky Fingers Cooking instructors.
