Our goal is to provide a challenging, high quality education in
a setting designed to maximize your child’s potential. Our
expectation is that students will challenge themselves by taking
rigorous courses in order to prepare them for college and
careers.
When selecting classes in high school, keep the following in
mind:
Your child’s interests and unique strengths.
Set high academic goals.
Post high school goals: colleges prefer students who have
completed challenging classes.
Research shows that involved students are high academic
achievers. Clubs, sports, organizations and extra-curricular
activities are great for kids.
Placement in classes is based on the following:
Standardized tests scores
Teacher recommendations
To enroll your student in a course that is not recommended,
contact your student’s guidance specialist.
