This program was first introduced in 1986. It is the longest running private

program in British Columbia. The Family Resource Institute began in 1986 with 90 graduates (Federally

Funded) and grew steadily to a peak of 290 graduates in 1992 (Privately Funded/3 months long). CFRI

graduated an average of 150 graduates per year until 2004 (Privately

Funded/6 months long).

partnership with the Canadian Family Resource Institute

offering the FRI®College Method for Training Resident Care

Attendants.

The FRI®College Method was originally Accredited by PPSEC for CFRI in 2000.

Accredited again in 2003 by PPSEC for Anchor

Publishing and in 2008 by PCTIA.
