Precious MemoriesReflection of LifeTo know Micah was to know that her laughter was infectious (whether or not you thought the joke was funny, you’d be cracking up too) and her generosity was endless. She was the candle that could light up the entire room, no matter the size, with a simple smile.

Micah Lynn Andrews made her debut August 17, 1982, in Luling, Louisiana, into the lives of Rylie and Patsy Andrews. As the eldest of two children, she definitely was a social butterfly (because

her younger sister was not). Micah graduated from Northwood University with a degree in Marketing and a Minor in Accounting. She went on to become a Retail Manager and Entrepreneur. She dreamed one day of expanding her tax business.

On August 27, 2016, she became engaged to Drake Hill. From this union, Rylee Marie Hill made her debut. Micah loved her girls more than anything. To be honest, she loved all children.

The crowd of children that was always around her announced her arrival long before a knock on the door. Always smiling, I remember repeatedly asking her, “Micah, whose baby is that?” If I ever missed my father, I would just take my sister to the grocery store, and watch her engage with complete strangers as if they were family.

Making her heavenly arrival, she is joining her father, Rylie Andrews, Jr.; her paternal grandparents, Rylie Sr., and Eliza Andrews; her maternal grandparents, Ferdinand and Arcadia Alexander; and a host of other family (there aren’t enough characters to name them all).

Micah leaves to treasure her memories: her mother, Patsy Andrews; her sister, Valorie Andrews; her fiancé, Drake Hill; nephew, Guy 5; her godson, Kenneth Wheatley, Jr.; her sister-friends, Ashlie Nails, Tiffany Snowden, Ca’Mirra Jones, and Jequette Lee; and a host of other friends and family. She has entrusted us with the care of her three children, Kai, Caydence, and Rylee. Her love remains in the hearts of numerous family and friends.

Saying GoodbyeHow do we say goodbye

When my eyes can no longer see your smiling face

We search for explanations as to whyYou are no longer amongst the human race. But saying goodbye we know we must try

Because your time here on this earth is no more

We say goodbye with tears, we cryAs We search for you from sea to shore.

Teary eyed, we’ ll try to say goodbyeMemories of you forever

etched in our heartForget you not, we can’t even if we try, we sigh

As we move on with us apart.Life won’t be the same for us as we know it

We’ ll miss you dearly, your humor, your joy, your wit.

We will always love you, Micah Lynn.“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it

gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Matthew 5:14-16

Dear Mommy,Thank you for always making

me smile and laugh. Thank you

for always taking me places and

spending time with me. Mom, I’m

gonna to miss your kiss, hug, and

smile. You made me happy all the

time. You took me a lot of places.

My mom loved me, but she’s with

God and that is good. Look how

happy you are right now, looking at

me, and smiling at me right now.

You meant everything to me, and

now your looking down at me which

makes me happy.

Love you mommy.

Sincerely, Caydence

Baby,As I sit here and write you my last

Goodbyes, I’ ll try to sit here and come up with some big words to say but, I don’t think any words I could ever say would make someone understand what you mean to me. My Big Mama

always told me that, “Actions speak louder than words”, but it is only

now, I truly get what that means. You are my rock. Next to God, you never let me fall. When life got hard, you

always had my back. Micah Lynn, there are no words

that can ease my pain, but I want to let you know, you are an amazing Woman, Mother, Friend, Business

Partner, Auntie, and Wife.Your smile took my breath away. Your laugh filled my spirit. It breaks my heart that

I didn’t have to chance to walk you down the aisle with plans you were creating. Even though we only had 3 children, there were always so many more in our house, and you

made sure each kid had what they needed. Whether it was answering a phone call, doing taxes, shopping, decorating, bringing other people’s kids home every weekend, or just talking with me, you let your words follow your actions, and your actions made

everyone smile. I’m going to miss that smile of yours. You mean the world to the girls and me.

Just know, I got them, and that I’ ll always love you.

DrakeP.S. I’m going to miss those

4 words you would say, “Girl, that’s his side.”

Rylee’s Tribute

Dear Mommy,Thank you for being the best mom in the world. You spent so much time and money on us. You always took us somewhere and on vacations. For example, we would go to waterparks,

amusement park, zoo, safari or anywhere you thought we would enjoy.Mommy, you don’t know what you meant to me. You were the best in the whole West. You

would always play with us. My favorite game to play with you was hide and seek in the dark. I loved playing this game with you because if we found you three times, we could go somewhere

or you would buy us something. It was so fun. I remember the time when we did the pizza challenge. It was so fantastic and fun, my mom made a better pizza than everyone else. it was

yummy and cheesy. My mom, Micah, was always there for me, she will always be in my heart and look over me. We all loved her so very much. I remember another time and it’s my favorite, because it was holly jolly Christmas. This particular Christmas, I got my favorite doll from monster high,

Clawdeen. Every since I got Clawdeen, Mommy and I would always play with it. All of us will miss her very much and love her very much!

Love, Kai Knox
